Limits of Liability
Ever wondered what happens if the unthinkable occurs? While our safety record is impeccable, we maintain strict liability guidelines to keep our pricing competitive. Cargo is transported under standard industry limits unless additional valuation is declared before the wheels start turning.
We're not just moving boxes; we're moving your business's future. Our liability is capped at $0.50 per pound for standard freight unless a specific higher value is agreed upon in writing. Don't forget, we always recommend third-party insurance for high-value delicate electronics or precision machinery.
Smart Warehousing Rules
How long can your goods stay in our local Akron facility? We offer flexible staging, but warehousing isn't meant to be a permanent museum. Duration limits apply to ensure high throughput and availability for all our partners.
Standard storage agreements cover the first 30 days. Beyond that, demurrage fees may apply. We believe in movement, not stagnation. Our team will notify you 48 hours before any storage thresholds are reached because we don't like surprises any more than you do.
Freight Carriage & Payment
Payments shouldn't be a bottleneck. We operate on a Net-15 basis for established partners. New to the CRITICAL SUPPLY CHAIN LLC network? We'll likely ask for payment upon delivery for the first few shipments as we build our relationship.
Late payments disrupt the flow. To keep our trucks moving and our drivers happy, a 1.5% monthly service charge is applied to balances past the 30-day mark. Shall we keep things simple and set up automated invoicing for your account?
